Breast Cancer Study Finds Parabens in Virtually All Tumors

  • Posted on January 30, 2012 at 2:38 am

A frightening yet informative new study on the correlation between parabens and incidences of breast cancer has just been released via The Huffington Post.

“Parabens are chemicals used as a preservative in a number of cosmetics and personal care products including deodorant, shampoo, makeup, lotions and oral care products, as well as in processed food items and some pharmaceutical products.”

“The estrogen-mimicking properties of most parabens are believed to be a factor responsible for the rising cases of breast cancer.”

The risks associated with parabens don’t add up to the benefits of using them. They are commonly used as a cheap preservative in cosmetics and personal care products. Be sure to read the ingredients before purchasing any products for you or your family, and do your research!
